چکیده
This article presents a 3-D semi-analytical model of partially superconducting axial flux modulation machine for the computation density distribution, torque, and eddy-current losses in armature. The coil magnetic field by bulks is calculated solving Maxwell’s equations scalar potential with variable separation method. Using Fourier series analysis convolution theorem, bulk region modeled domain spatially permeability. permeability enables considering diamagnetic as well more complex behavior using Bean model. results proposed are compared finite-element models good agreement obtained significantly reduced time. appears to be suitable tool optimization sizing processes.

Analytical calculation of the flux density distribution in a superconducting reluctance machine with HTS bulks rotor
This paper deals with the analytical computation of the magnetic field distribution in a wholly superconducting reluctance motor. The rotor is made with high temperature superconductor bulks which nearly present a diamagnetic behavior under zero-field cooling. The stator consists of superconducting armature windings fed by AC currents of high amplitude. The superconducting stator winding can ge...
متن کاملA New Method for Computation of Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine Inductances under Saturated Condition
Accurate computing of the saturated inductances of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) is very important during the design process. In this paper, a new method is presented based on the B-H characteristic of the stator material and unsaturated inductances formulations. This method is used to calculate the saturated inductances of the axial flux PMSM. The synchronous inductance and all o...
متن کاملDeveloping a 3D-FEM Model for Electromagnetic Analysis of an Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Machine
Recently, many optimal designs for axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) motors were performed based on finiteelement (FE) analysis. Most of the models are based on reduction of 3D problem to 2D problem which is not accurate for design aspects. This paper describes an accurate electromagnetic analysis of a surface mounted, 28 pole AFPM with concentrated stator winding. The AFPM is modeled with thr...
متن کاملNovel Axial Flux Brushless Resolver Analysis and Optimization Using 3D Finite Element and d-q Model Method
Resolvers are widely used in electric driven systems especially in high precision servomechanisms. Both encapsulated and pancake resolvers suffer from a major drawback: static eccentricity (SE). This drawback causes a significant increase in resolver output position error (RPE) which could not be corrected electronically. To reduce RPE, this paper proposes a novel structure with axial flux. Pr...
متن کاملA Semi-analytical Solution for 3-D Dynamic Analysis of Thick Continuously Graded Carbon Nanotube-reinforced Annular Plates Resting on a Two-parameter Elastic Foundation
The The main objective of this research paper is to present 3-D elasticity solution for free vibration analysis of elastically supported continuously graded carbon nanotube-reinforced (CGCNTR) annular plates. The volume fractions of oriented, straight single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction. An equivalent continuum model based on the Eshelby-M...
